Fitting composition and dimensional characteristics

The Male_Male threaded Elbow fitting is derived from the moulding of our Unirapid Elbow and, precisely for this reason, it is bigger and heavier than most of the threaded elbows on the market.

The male threading of our fittings is conical, not cylindrical, in compliance with standard UNI ISO 7 which defines the dimensions, the conical grade and the length of conical threading. The conical threading clearly provides a greater seal guarantee compared to a cylindrical one. In fact, the major water distribution companies normally request this. Furthermore, there are small cuts on the crest of the thread, knurling, in order to guarantee that Teflon or other types of materials suitable for sealing the thread will have better grip.
